Seven Sisters (London)
Expanding the scale of my fine art, I was commissioned to create a large statement painting for the entrance of a residential housing complex in South London. To bring this piece to life, I chose to work on large-scale MDF wood panels—much like my process for the Tango and Polo series—allowing the texture and oil to sit richly on the surface.
While the final large panels remain unphotographed in their permanent location, this project inspired a beautiful internal exploration. From the composition of that original large piece, a series of smaller, intimate canvas studies emerged. These sister paintings capture the exact same warm, vibrant energy and intertwining forms, standing as the permanent artistic record of that original grand scale creation.

Following these large-format pieces, I translated that same energy into small and medium-sized canvases. These paintings focus on the raw interaction of bodies, capturing the movement, the dramatic contrast of lighting, and the absolute immersion of the dancers within the space of the canvas.
