Rhythm, Space & the bridge of Human Connection
Rhythm, Space & the bridge of Human Connection
As a former dancer, my deep connection to the tango community naturally bled into my visual art. When I first arrived in London, an Argentine restaurant commissioned a series of large-scale paintings on pressed wood panels to define the atmosphere of their venue. This project birthed the Tango Series—a visceral exploration of dancers suspended in the tension of the embrace.
These pieces went on to hold deeply personal journeys.

Following these large-format pieces, I translated that same energy into small and medium-sized canvases. These paintings focus on the raw interaction of bodies, capturing the movement, the dramatic contrast of lighting, and the absolute immersion of the dancers within the space of the canvas.

The bridge of human connection
These pieces went on to hold deeply personal journeys. One specific artwork, 'Tango Azul,' was purchased by a loyal restaurant customer who dined alone near it every single week because it reflected his long-lost love. Years later, after they reconnected, he bought the painting to bring to her in Switzerland as a gift. Months later, they invited me to dinner to share their story: without knowing it, my art had become the bridge for their emotional reunion. Following these large formats, I translated that same passion and texture into medium and small canvases, exploring the raw, immersive power of the embrace
